Once you do and his shadow is down he can't do much except poke with Qs until you're in melee range. It's 20 secs rank 1 so once he hits 3 (or 2 if he levels W first which you don't do as often) watch whenever he walks up and try to avoid the combo. Just as general tips you want to play around his shadow cooldown which is pretty high early levels. I feel like Cassio and Annie are really the only champion I can pick into Zed (im control mage player, so i dont play ad champs like talon) and even these two champions are kind of coin flip, because they cant do anything, if I don't have ult available (ult into zeds face after zed reappears after his ult, but this can be dodged by zed easily, if he's aware of this so this does not feel like a really good counter pick). I hope this doesn't seem rude or anything, but I really have huge problems playing against Zed and I thought, this might be the best place to ask because who knows the weaknesses of Zed better than Zed mains?
